Not all designers want to become leads or VPs or even founders.

Some of us just want to design and be perfectly happy with that.

You're looking for external solutions to an internal problem,

You were trained by society to believe that by owning the right things, achieving the right goals, having the right status, you'd find happiness and inner peace.

Now that you have those things your anxiety will increase because you'll realize you've been doing it wrong your whole life.

The next step is to go inward and heal yourself. It will be much harder than anything else you've done, but if you do it you'll come out free on the other side.

One client, just one client, can change your life.

I pray you will meet that client soon.

One of you out there feels like giving up.

Don’t.

Keep pushing. It’s worth it.

[Chris Do @theChrisDo]

Anyone can lower their prices to “win” new business. This doesn’t require any skill. It just means you make do with less.

The trick is to be the highest bid and win, and have the client thank you for it. This requires skill.
