@tmiket We've watered down education to the point that allows this-- And now with a mental health crisis in schools, we'll continue to see folks who can't discern between disinformation they prefer and inconvenient truth.
Change My Mind:
Everything I learn about #AI leads me to believe it will disempower those already on the wrong side of the digital divide. Barriers to access to technology will get bigger and there will be fewer opportunities for our most vulnerable.
@CodingAunty Video and written documentation have different strengths. If I need a technique demonstrated, then video. For a reference on methods available within an API, documentation.
@AskLyft I was over charged on a ride. The quoted charge was $26 but I was charged an even $100 for a 15 minute ride at 4:40 AM with no traffic. How do I get this fixed? All the options on the app lead nowhere.
@tmiket Of course it will have learner impact. All the research is presupposed on the learner actually completing the learning. How often does a learner judge a poor design to be a poor experience and immediately abandon the learning experience? @GerDriesen
4 Steps to a Better #Presentation
1) Practice "less is more". Less text, fewer photos, less colors. Use less elements with more drama.
2) Throw away bullet points. Limit yourself to three words per slide.
3) Engage with animation (but not too much)
4) Crop and adjust your images.
Are you using the command line?
Once you understand its language, you'll unlock a new level of control over your digital environment. Tasks that once took several clicks and scrolls can be accomplished with simple commands.

Top skills for the AI-driven workplace:
1) Data Literacy and Analysis: In an AI-dominated world, being able to understand, interpret, and analyze data will be crucial. This includes not only knowing how to work with large datasets but also being adept at drawing meaningful insights from them.
2) Critical Thinking: With machines taking over routine tasks, humans need to leverage their critical thinking skills more than ever. Being able to evaluate information objectively, identify patterns or trends in complex datasets generated by AI systems will set individuals apart.
3) Creativity and Innovation: While algorithms can crunch numbers efficiently, they lack the creativity of human minds. Skill sets that involve creative problem-solving techniques are highly valued as companies look towards innovation in product development or process improvement.
4) Adaptability and Flexibility: The pace of technological advancement driven by AI is relentless; therefore adaptability becomes a key skill required for employees who must continuously learn new tools or ways of working as technology evolves.
Anyone can learn to use #ChatGPT. It's your own creativity, adaptability and critical thinking skills that will keep you ahead.
Theft in a suit and tie is still theft. Fraud committed by a boy genius is still fraud. @SBF_FTX is getting what he deserves. Now, what about the smaller operators making fraudelent money off the backs of the vulnerable?
