Had to just go for it. The Spirits push me to the nature! Barren and dangerous as the desert cliffs may seem, there is so much life out there! I enjoy talking to the birds and lizards and chipmunks, no jack rabbits today or rattlesnakes!! Since today is probably the last day below 100, I decided to push myself to do a ridiculous hike. This area is so rugged and steep. Started at 3725' and hiked up and down and way up to 5163' peak. There is actually water still up there at 5000' and it looked 2 feet deep. I was about 100' from the epicenter of the earthquake we had had a few days ago. Serious Indian territory and to the North, which I just didnt have it in me to get to, is the pictograph and petroglyph site I posted back in December. Truly Magical sandstone meets the limestone layers up there. The video shows how crazy far out I was and met some friends along the way! 🦎🌼 Made it home and damn, I got worked and am loving it!!!
