The cap on apprenticeship starts for small employers will be reset to zero next month, the ESFA has announced.

It means that any non-levy paying business can start up to 10 new apprentices, regardless of the number they currently have.

New provider monitoring visits will resume from March 15th, and Ofsted have confirmed that they will now be conducted face-to-face. Ofsted said the visits will require inspectors to be onsite to provide the level of assurance they need to make judgements.
