These are dozens of lightbulbs that we have confiscated from a cash and carry market in Pretoria West. Illicit goods have no place in Tshwane.
One by one.
@JacintaNgobese Most of those who are celebrating are celebrates because this thing of illegal foreigners is not affect them, but one day they will see what we are trying to fight.
Welcome to South Africa where the Refugees Act has completely replaced the Immigration Act and some South Africans are celebrating because they hate Jacinta and March and March‼️‼️🤦🏼♀️
During an inspection at Ali Electronics in Pretoria West, we confiscated illicit electronic goods. In addition, we uncovered a storage room that was constructed without approved building plans. This illegal room poses a serious safety risk because the floor appears visibly weakened.@CityTshwane
Taxi industry figure, Oupa Jossiah “Bafana” Sindane’s latest bid to block his subpoena at the Madlanga Commission has been struck from the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria’s roll after he failed to file the necessary papers. https://t.co/fmBgYHT4oT
What did I tell you guys yesterday??? 🤦🏻♀️ Zasineka izlima celebrating the judgement just because they don’t like Jacinta and they are EFF?? South Africa is a WELFARE State and now Foreigners are going to be having a feast…
The plastic bag pictured below looks genuine at first glance, but once you investigate it you’ll find a fake specification number. In addition, the quality of the bag doesn’t meet NRCS standards. These plastic bags are some of the goods we’ve confiscated during a by-law enforcement operation in partnership with the NRCS.
NRCS - is an entity of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition.
They’ve joined us today to tackle illicit goods in Pretoria West.

Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma Slams Home Affairs Directive on Asylum Applications
March and March leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma has condemned a Home Affairs directive that orders refugee offices to accept asylum applications from people who entered South Africa illegally, calling the Constitutional Court ruling behind it a shock that ignores immigration law and undocumented South Africans.
It will only keep getting worse if as South Africans you do not wake up and smell the coffee. It’s time to vote for leadership that will prioritise South Africans instead of playing saviour to the world while making its own people suffer. On the 4th of November, let’s come together and kick out the ANC, restore our country, and ensure its benefits are for South Africans ONLY!!
SA First Forum Gives Home Affairs 14 Days To Account For Undocumented South Africans
The SA First Forum has given the Department of Home Affairs 14 days to account for millions of South Africans who remain without identity documents.
In a letter to the department, the forum, the legal arm of March and March, launched in August by Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma 1says about 4.4 million citizens remain undocumented.
The forum is demanding the current number of undocumented citizens, reasons why they remain without IDs, a plan to document them within 90 days, and a breakdown of spending on the asylum and refugee programme.
It argues that state resources are being directed towards non-citizens while South Africans remain without basic identity documents, citing the Constitution and the Identification Act.
The figure is based on a parliamentary disclosure by Home Affairs Minister Leon Schreiber, which showed that 4,432,923 people aged 16 and older did not have a green ID book or smart ID card in November 2025.
By 12 August 2026, the number had fallen to 4,055,569.
Schreiber has not committed to clearing the backlog within 90 days. On 1 October, he said a campaign to document every undocumented citizen is planned for the 2028/29 financial year, with completion targeted for 2029.
Home Affairs had not responded to the forum's demands at the time of publication.
