@BotintheFlesh @kelskiYT It's cheaper long term for Embark to just put the Voice Actors on a Contract to use their voices, that way they have a wider range of what they can do with voicelines. Can't have em call you out in game if they don't use TTS. You're in a mediocre state of opionions man

@BotintheFlesh @kelskiYT Text to Speech does use human voices. They need a baseline for the sound. They have the ones we know like Microsoft Sam, but Siri uses a real person's voice to do the same text to speech.
They pay people to say common words, phrases, vowels, and tones then splice it all together
