@lpconnaughton I think I would still paint the mantel white to help highlight a tile change. Then tiles either white or maybe a tile cover with design?

Also “I’m having trouble getting my students to understand or talk about each other’s ideas”. “I ask questions and no one answers”. “Students say they understand but then struggle to explain in writing”. “How do I deal with students sharing an incorrect answer?”
