We're two guys with some common heraldry, a love for great games and a desire to actually be able to afford them. Quality of product without quantity of price!
@roguecaliber Mekton Zeta by R. Talsorian Games needs to make a comeback. Perfect timing. Pretty solid system too, with many similar classifications. It has its problems, like anything, but I’ve always had fun with it.
@TheQuestBro@HiroshiHanzo 1) So does Battletech. The original Technical Readouts from 2750 through to 3055 had mixed units. Plains, trains, automobiles, tanks, hovercraft, fighters…It’s also TECHNICALLY miniatures agnostic: all you need is some indicator of facing on whatever you’re using.
@TheQuestBro@HiroshiHanzo 2) And with 3D printing available, you can make and scale whatever you want. I have models for Zeon MS I’m going to be working with soon to make a couple of lances from Periphery States to use as Inner Sphere mercenaries.
@Ulfhedrengr Dude is jacked, chairs are a good 30-40 lbs. My oldest son, 8, is in a wheelchair. He was born with two legs, but only one is partially functional with added nerve damage. This is anecdotal, but he bails out of the chair as often as he can for real life adventures. It slows him.
@BrutalHermit And depending on how much elbow work you want to do, there are Japanese books for Gundam (0079-0081) and Gundam Sentinel. I’ll finish my translation eventually…the OYW game has a lot of neat things about it.
@BrutalHermit Many of the best ones have already been mentioned, but I don’t see White Star or the Savage Worlds Robotech book mentioned. White Star is a sci fi adaptation of D&D white box (but amazing) and SWADE Robotech has some cool stuff about it.
@ColonyCreations Well, I have both a resin AND and FDM machine. I’m ready to go! I miss this aesthetic and have often talk to @NolanJSkinner about making tabletop games with a similar look. We just need to finish something…But I totally support anyone trying to get more Mecha to market!
