@Paul_Morrissey The kick in question was not checked and didn't even make contact with his ankle. Also, I'm not disputing the fact that DP won, it's more that he celebrated as if he'd finished when that certainly wasn't the case. Conor was still well in the fight if it goes another round.

Watched the fight back. Thought McGregor was looking good whilst throwing kicks, none of which were checked, in the early stages. Poirier got on top as soon as it went to ground and could've finished on another day. Second round would've been fun. #UFC264
