Nemaha Central enters 2025 coming off another strong season under head coach Michael Glatczak, who has compiled a 44-5 career record in four years leading the Thunder. The team brings back an impressive nine starters on both sides of the ball, giving them one of the most experienced rosters in the state. Quarterback/linebacker Carter Hajek, a 2x SIK 2A OPOY winner, was a huge piece of the Thunder’s 2024 runner up finish. WR/DB Caleb Strathman, lineman Hendryx Wahl, and two-way lineman Daniel Childress are all back for the Thunder’s loaded 2025 group. Other key contributors defensively are linebackers Jack Macke andKamden Schmitz and DBJayden Seitz. With veteran leadership and depth at nearly every position, Nemaha Central will once again be a serious contender in 2A. 2A is arguably the most competitive classification in the state this year. The talent across the state is incredible and Nemaha Central has as good a shot as anyone to come out on top come November. #sportsinkansas
