I mention it only to say that twitter always sucked as far as the algorithm goes. It got worse, sure, but growing an audience here was always several times harder than it's been for me just about anywhere else.
In less than a day, I'm 20 follows away from having more followers on bluesky than I have here, and they're almost all from Newgrounds. These are high quality follows. No bots, no accounts that went dead 5 years ago, I'm talking fresh, engaging follows. The good stuff.
Alright I take back what I said about butterfly app. At the rate I'm at (which will not be sustainable) I'm gonna be doing better there than I am here by tomorrow.
I ask people to follow me on Mastodon and then they follow me on Bluesky, my most dead and unsuccessful profile on the internet, instead. I just need this to happen hundreds of times over and I'll start using it again, promise.
