중국 고대에는 달기를 직접 찬미한 시가 없다. 사서에서 반면에 놓인 인물이기 때문이다. 그래서 오히려 대중문화에서는 줄곧 기억되어 왔다. 달기와 구미호의 관계는 이렇다.🦊

1. 주나라가 상나라를 토벌할 때 죄목을 잔뜩 늘어놓았는데, 그중에는 여자가 정치에 개입하도록 내버려 두었다는 항목이 있다. 후대 사가와 문인들은 이 ��만으로는 매섭지 않다고 여겨, 달기, 곧 주왕의 왕비를 주범으로 지목하고 악하고 음란하다고 썼다. 다만 사실이라고 보장할 수는 없다.🤔

2. 여우는 처음부터 번식력이 높고 울음소리가 갓난아이 같아서 다산의 상징으로 여겨졌다. 허구의 구미호는 더욱이 생명력이 극히 강한 상서였다. 훗날 누군가 여우가 성적 매력을 지닌 요괴가 되어 사람을 홀린다고 쓰기 시작했고, 마지막에 그 설정이 달기에게 붙었다.🫠

It feels ruder on his part to hold someone up with conversation when they’ve already said “we have to go now”, whether it’s for comfort or any other reason. Someone’s interest in talking doesn’t override a need/want to end a conversation. If you were on the fence about whether he was pushing boundaries when he was talking to your niece, I would imagine — at least for me — I would officially have the ick for someone who pushed back the moment any form of “no” made itself known, even if they are disabled. Your boundary for safety doesn’t have to change because someone doesn’t understand it, and better that you were there with your niece versus having a kid handle it alone. I hope this brings some kind of peace! I don’t think you’re wrong for being wary or getting rubbed the wrong way by that kind of interaction!
