Not many guys would pass up the Memorial when they’re playing so well. But Bobby Mac’s a little different in that way. He talked earlier this year about how he’s felt lonely at times in his rookie season on the PGA Tour. First year playing full time in America. He said there’s not as much of a community environment on the PGA Tour as there was on the DP World Tour. He seems to thrive when he’s around his people. Fitting that first win comes with his dad on the bag.

I don’t look at the exchange rate between the rand and pound and jump for joy cos I’m here with pounds(over 24 today).
It makes me sad knowing how good SA is and yet the leadership doesn’t reflect that.
Hard working South Africans are financial prisoners in SA and there is NO WAY it should be this way.
Sun, sea, food, wine, mountains, medical centres, minerals, safari and a perfect time zone.
South Africa should NOT be anywhere near 24 on the pound!
My greatest wish for 2024, is that SA is in a much better position come Jan ‘25. 🙏🏽

there is a happy ending. Deon the 37 year old flank who had to play hooker ,end up playing in the final, for a while as Springbok captain. and when he got back the first thing he did was go to hospital and put his gold medal around his dad's neck .
