I dunno. There's a lot of spheres out there in nature: bubbles, precipitation, etc. I'm sure there are smart people who can imagine how metal spheres can be formed. It's a big universe.

And since I know *you've* forgotten: a hypothetical subatomic particle postulated to account for the rarity of processes that break charge-parity symmetry. It is very light, electrically neutral, and pseudoscalar. a possible component of cold dark matter.
