@gorgepulse Yes, especially our black-billed magpies. Here in northern Utah I'm developing a hedgerow with mostly black hawthorn, native chokecherry, red elderberry, and some bigtooth maple. Should be a wildlife paradise.

What part of the world would you think has the highest density of bee species? Surprisingly it is the dry dessert areas of the SW US and Northern Mexico. Of the 20,700+ know species there are 500 in the SW US. This is an Osmia bee I saw in Utah on a native Penstemon.
