Book 4/10: The Orenda, Joseph Boyden. Read w/ my Dad. Intensely difficult parts, but allows reflection on miscommunication, assumptions& violence that went down when Europeans &Jesuits were attempting to settle / wipe out indigenous life &culture in now called Canada.
