It's incredibly easy to get hated on as a girl in the space, especially one who has shared her trading journey, which people seem to hate nowadays.

I'm happy I started sharing my journey when I did in comparison to now. When I started sharing, people were so helpful in the comments, and would recommend videos, books, podcasts etc. People held me accountable and I found a community of like-minded individuals all with the same goals. Nowadays, if someone wants to share their trading journey, it is automatically assumed that they just want a career in affiliate marketing.

I understand why people feel this way, as trading is only getting more and more popular, which inevitably leads to more people wanting to share their journey. It's hard to know who is in it for the affiliate cash and who is genuinely determined to work until they see consistency with their trading.

If you really want to know who is genuine and who isn't, just simply take a look at their trading journey itself. Forget the person, forget their gender, forget what they're wearing. Are they sharing a journey, the struggles, the ups and downs, the lessons they've learnt? Or are they sharing mainly tiktok trends for views? Is there obvious progress in their journey that proves they actually want this?

This doesn't mean I don't love a good tiktok trend now and again btw. Understanding social media means understanding how to grab engagement and how to retain a follower.

No one can say to me that I only started this for affiliate money. I started posting when I didn't even know what a prop firm was. I livestream daily and have shared my first passed evaluation, my first blown accounts, my first payouts, strategy hopping, psychology struggles... the whole lot.

Not all girls sharing their genuine journey are evil and trying to manipulate you into using their discount code. There might be the odd few, but this label was put on me too, and I proved them all wrong. You never know which one of these girls are putting themself through the same struggles we all went through to pass that first funded, get that first payout etc.

And trust me.. trying to do all of that while being doubted by 1000s of people is tough.

I don’t even really post about them, they’re just there for anyone who wants some neat, organized notes to help with their own learning.
