seems like it’s perfect moment to bring back gloriosa’s symbolism in Rafayel’s route and why it beautifully fits into the story on the timeline 🤍

the flame lily, gloriosa superba - beautiful, but never a gentle flower. a symbol of transformation and resilience, capable of healing, yet just as capable of becoming deadly

it’s a climbing plant that cannot stand entirely on its own. it survives by entwining itself around something else, reaching outward as it grows, while its petals curl back like tongues of fire

the flame lily exists somewhere between beauty and danger. highly toxic in larger doses, yet traditionally used medicinally - both medicine and poison depending on how it is handled

even its name, meaning glorious and magnificent, praises its beauty while leaving out the fact that it can be lethal. sounds familiar?

in traditional cosmology, red and scarlet tones represent, among other things, passion, vitality and a momentum that cannot easily be stopped. they’re associated with strong yang energy - when balanced, yang is warmth and the breath of life. when excessive, it consumes and burns

red is also often tied to fate and debts. an all consuming love that demands sacrifice, a price that must be paid to restore balance. the flame lily can carry similar associations - the afterlife, karmic crossings, the inevitable journey. growing along paths, it becomes a flower of passage and exchange. something is always demanded in return. transformation comes through loss

a recurring idea in eastern philosophies such as daoism is that things are rarely inherently framed as morally evil or good. circumstance and intent matter. historically, physicians explored that space in between as well - especially with medicinal substances. dosage, preparation and knowledge could determine whether the same plant became someone’s blessing or their demise

the flame lily’s poison, then, doesn’t have to represent evil. it can represent something dangerous that must be understood and learned how to wield before it can become medicine

Yu’s bond with mc mirrors that duality almost perfectly - something meant to shine with the beauty of devoted love, yet corroded by fate. their love heals and poisons at the same time, keeping them bound within the same karmic cycle

flame lilies cannot stand alone - they wrap themselves around something else in order to keep climbing

Qi Yu and mc aren’t meant to be separated either. they climb, entwine and adapt together, again and again, until perhaps they finally find a way to turn the toxin into medicine and bring their fire back into balance

[Sunshine #zaynetember @Skyla919]

Can't infold do something about this? Aren't they tired of their own stupidity? The "recipes" aren't even real or legit. One side is filled with "adults" with 0 logic or maturity. Let's just use our brains, its really getting embarrassing and tiring.

[Sunshine #zaynetember @Skyla919]

DO NOT use my caleb's pic while sprouting nonsense. A Ll might not be upto your taste valid asf but that doesn't mean you can put whatever labels you want on them. Respect one's identity and expression of it. This just shows to me how narrow your views on masculinity are tbh.
