@ elitetrainerscave on IG is a scammer and is scamming for prismatic evolutions orders. I used credit card so I’ll get my money back. DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THEM.
@TheeUncleJerry
A live streamer on whatnot (who’s now suspended) sold 1,000+ packs of Prismatic Evolutions last night, and only pulled one SIR the entire stream?
Were any of you there?
Insane if true lol
Prismatic Evolutions Could Have Been Compromised Rant:
This week I watched Pokemon content like I haven’t in a very long time. It started when I heard a live streamer opened 1,500 packs of Prismatic Evolutions and only pulled 2 Eevee/Eeveelution SIRs.
As of tonight, I’ve seen about 8k packs opened live and NGL it looks really bad.
Let’s back up…
English Pokémon has been trending in one direction since the beginning of S&V. Bigger sets, and more slots to pull cool cards from. It’s likely strategic so they can print more cards, sell more packs, without devaluing particular chases by seeding them too often and flooding the secondary market.
Prismatic Evolutions as a product is as straight forward as it gets. A big set, based on an insanely popular Japanese counterpart, contains several cards fans want. Did I mention god packs, and master balls?
Basically in terms of fan service PE is a nuke, soaked in gasoline, that just ate Chipotle sofritas with double beans, crusted in flaming hot Cheeto dust.
It didn’t need to be tweaked ratio wise to be highly sought after by consumers. The Pokémon company knows that, so why is the seeding of nearly all Eeveelutions SIR so lopsidedly… Awful?
Again folks, this is not simply S&V era “type beat” seeding. I know there’s 30+ SIRs, but even then, less desirable SIRs seem too few and far between.
Few possible scenarios:
A. Pokémon turned the chase card seeding lever to 10 to see what would happen. They watched competitors like Bandai drop 1:9 case pulls, and figured this sets draw was so strong it was perfect to experiment on western markets with.
B. Similar to Fusion Strike, the printing facility was compromised, and these wave 1 products are going to be missing 1,000s of supposed to be seeded chase cards. L
C. Some of the live-streamers (not Rev obviously) were weighing and or metal detecting hit packs and pulling them off to the side so customers would never get the chance…
Look I am a nerd but I am not the ultimate Pokemon expert on English modern cards even if I do open these daily.
I am saying as a hobbyist, who sees this stuff a lot, something feels wrong. It feels like I am watching Weiss Schwarz or YuGiOh openings… This set doesn’t feel like Pokémon.
And the $15-$20 per pack before release trend? Yikes…
Thoughts?
This may mean nothing to you guys but just having space means a lot . I was in a tiny room for 3 years barely space for storage or walking . Worked 7 days for 3 years to get to a point where I’m comfortable. I’ll still continue to work everyday until I reach my goals 💎 for me these are just progress pictures kind of like a journal .
