Congrats to this lady from the photo that fell out of a tree removal guys folder back in 2013. Found in my driveway. This Stanley cup is for you. #stlblues#stanleycupfinal2019
@knoxrob1@NickAndreATR The team makes the coach available and 2 key players. Yesterday it was Boston and Timpson. They don’t have to make every player available and let the press conference turn into a shit show.
@MyStandard_Adam@lalauren18@BrycesView@yElff_ The 500th ranked player in the world that you can barely call professional because they’ve earned about 10k in prize money and have to pay all expenses is almost a 14.
@MyStandard_Adam@lalauren18@BrycesView@yElff_ Yep. Gotcha. Makes perfect sense. Just for reference. I’m a 7 as a 43 year very solid rec league player that plays once a week. He was a 9 as a D2 college player.
@MyStandard_Adam@lalauren18@BrycesView@yElff_ lol. Yes, 5.0 is very good for a rec level player. Probably a low level D3 type college level. At least he whoops up on Gordon Hayward.
@MyStandard_Adam@lalauren18@BrycesView@yElff_ Gordon Hayward for example is a 4.5/ 7 UTR according to USTA. That’s what I am. I’m 43 years old and was not a college player. If you want to equate that across all sports he’s probably equal to a good high school player.
@MyStandard_Adam@lalauren18@BrycesView@yElff_ It doesn’t exist. Drew Brees beat Andy Roddick when Drew was 13 and Andy was 9 years old. The other stuff that you have listed is lower level for comparison sake to a local club golf tournaments.
@MyStandard_Adam@lalauren18@BrycesView@yElff_ I get that… no one is qualifying for Wimbledon either. Tennis player Mardy Fish played a tour even on an exemption and beat a few guys. Yes he’s a great golfer but I’m saying there is a sliver of hope that does not exist in tennis.
@MyStandard_Adam@lalauren18@BrycesView@yElff_ No shit… I’m saying in a given golf tournament he will beat pros because they can’t stop him. I’m not saying he would ever compete to make cuts. I’m just saying tennis would be more impossible to beat anybody. That’s all
@MyStandard_Adam@lalauren18@BrycesView@yElff_ No, scratch is a very good average golfer that if he played in a professional tournament he would not finish last. Might even most of the time but would not always. Zero chance that an adult with 2 years of training could win a set off any D-1 college player let alone a pro.
@MyStandard_Adam@lalauren18@BrycesView@yElff_ In tennis, you can legitimately not even play the game at a professional level. In golf the average pro athlete could train for a couple years and be a scratch golfer. Just right there you could go out and beat pro golfers in a tournament.
