@miltownroad@RobNaiv@PawlowskiMario Blame sounds lame. You’re not reading me. It’s all about interests. The thing is that you think this is a good guy/bad guy struggle. That hinders your understanding. I won’t waste my time anymore with you.
@miltownroad@RobNaiv@PawlowskiMario Look, Putin is no angel. But this conflict came to be due to clashing interests between the collective west and Russia. Ukraine happened to be in the middle, and it will probably end up being destroyed. It’s a sad recurrent story in contemporary history.
@miltownroad@RobNaiv@PawlowskiMario The Russian speaking part preferred to maintain ties with Russia rather than with the EU. That’s when they became an obstacle to NATO expansion. Then came Victoria Nuland and her color revolution where she practically handpicked the new Ukrainian gov’t with Bandera nationalists.
@miltownroad@RobNaiv@PawlowskiMario I would say you don’t know the events taking place in Ukraine before the Maidan coup. The predominantly Russian part of Ukraine voted against joining the EU and NATO. The US plan? Get rid of that obstacle.
@miltownroad@RobNaiv@PawlowskiMario You got denial issues. Think of a parallel world where a major military alliance throws a coup in Mexico and installs a gov’t hostile to the US, and then tells them that it’s no business of them what weapons they put there. What do you think the US would do?
@miltownroad@RobNaiv@PawlowskiMario Check the minutes of the last meeting before the SMO started between Blinken and Lavrov. See if you still think the same thing.
@RobNaiv@miltownroad@PawlowskiMario You’re right. They behave more like sports supporters, and don’t seem to take into account that the lives of real people are on the line.
@miltownroad@PawlowskiMario@RobNaiv Ok then, keep believing that but you‘re deluding yourself. Look at other countries where there are more than one prevailing language. See if they do the same thing Ukraine is doing.
@miltownroad@PawlowskiMario@RobNaiv You’re not well informed then. I know Russian is Zalenky’s first language. Yet , Russian speaking people cannot conduct any business with the Ukranian state in their native language which has been present in the region for hundreds of years. Try doing something like in Spain.
@miltownroad@PawlowskiMario@RobNaiv Suppressing a language, a religion, the opposition, and the press doesn’t sound like good guys to me. Why does it to you?
