Slackjaw55

I do music and stuff.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

Oh dear. I just listened to some of the stuff i posted here on my phone for the first time and yikes. I feel like i need to make a disclaimer:

Do /not/ listen to any of this in mono. You're going to have a strictly worse experience. You have been warned.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

@_FUZZYTRACE_ Do vou remember if i posted a second version after the first full one?

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

Graverobber//fix

I was looking through old tweets and it appears that the fixed version of graverobber disappeared? Or maybe i just never posted it in the first place, did i?

Anyway, that shot of prof. Kirin in the newest preview got me feeling a kind of way.
#tamers12345

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

@_FUZZYTRACE_ I mean, it's just so perfectly resonant with what I had been working on and all. That and i have been VIBRATING with excitement for this episode. Everyone i know was already tiring of my tamers yapping but this episode is going to push them over the edge. I may be in danger.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

@_FUZZYTRACE_ It's the same song from before, I had a fixed version lying around. i tweaked some mix things from that (the first stanza was way too loud) and rerecorded the video and uploaded it.

The main difference from the original upload is a change of lyrics in the bridge and final chorus

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

@the_pony_poison Idk, maybe the single subject gives a lot of leeway with the resolution, especially with how tight the frame is on the subject. Also, the kind of vibey ethereal nature resonates with kid pix's weird abstract bullshit.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

@hello_grows Blorbo is a tumblrism that means Something Along the lines of a character you're deeply autistic about

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

@AddictedTo6Yaoi @_FUZZYTRACE_ They've always been ambiguously on model at best and there's only been one stallion ep since Quarantine, so idk if there's enough of a sample to draw any reasonable conclusions from, but i was also thinking that there was something about the image of Care Package and his dad.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

@_FUZZYTRACE_ It's funny, I've never been one to lust after the funny colorful horses but idk, that one preview thing w/ PK might be awakening something in me, unfortunately. It's so over.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

@_FUZZYTRACE_ I see, but i guess the real question is, do the shovel be throbbin? Do he be rippin up plots lookin for a man? I mean, obviously to the latter.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

Friday can NOT come fast enough, i swear.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

Crawl

An orphaned chorus that i could never quite find a home for. I do very much like the "i hope your stigmata don't make it hard to crawl" line, though. Also the riff itself is kinda sick. It's really kind of a shame i can't do anything with this one.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

@phantomx112 @TheTamers12345 I was in a call when this droppedal and this shit was literally me. Even down to the everyone being confused as to why i was screaming.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

@TheTamers12345 HOLY FUCKING SHIT LETS FUCKING GOOO ITS HAPPENING. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED FOR AN EPISODE I'M GOING TO SHIT OUT OF EVERY ORIFICE. WHY IS CARE PACKAGE KYLE BROFLOVSKI? THANK YOU, THAMAR.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

More trivia: Snuff's main riff was loosely based on this song that i can't do anything with due to mixed meter being annoying to work with in sunvox whose lyrics were repurposed for the verses in headache tree. All i can find of it is this janky midi version, though.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

If there's any album that i mention here that you actually listen to, let it be Laughing Stock by Talk Talk. As a matter of fact, go listen to it right now. It's probably the single most beautiful record I've ever heard.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

@phantomx112 Bro even beat out pkg dad's own child, It's crazy.

[Slackjaw55 @Slackjaw055]

Never forget that Prof Kirin was the first person to verbally acknowledge Care Package's Dad after his resurrection. They're practically already a couple, I mean, come on.
