@engineeringolf@patrickjkoenig Great post and agreed, just play quick and have fun! Me my brother and dad took my BiL to play who never touched a club so you can imagine how bad he was. He was quick, didn’t complain, drank a few beers and honestly had a great time.
@RealSimpleAriel@elonmusk@SenWarren@BernieSanders The rocket emoji that pops when I liked your post is the icing on the cake. Love or hate Elon you have to give him credit. He’s invested the money, built great teams and made every SpaceX employee wealthy, what’s there to hate.
@supermotocross@ProMotocross Very nice way of saying my bike gave out on me, at least he’s keeping it professional. Making Prado look more sane by the day.
@fnf2017@BigSwingTempo Just play Texas tee ball if you’re playing with one or two beginners. This would be a good learning experience for them. They get to hit from a good area for their second shot but they have to learn how to improve their short game since they’re on their own after that.
@BigSwingTempo@fnf2017 The only variable is loser has to buy drinks! I got a feeling both foursomes would be moving as fast as they could. Would probably end up being a lightning round that takes 2.5 hours.
@BigSwingTempo@fnf2017 We’re just going to need to test this out ourselves. You get three guys to scramble I’ll get three guy own ball behind you and see what’s up! Haha may be a fun experiment! Or we can agree to disagree
@BigSwingTempo@fnf2017 Dude nothing I’ve said helps your argument. Scrambling is so fast that scramble tournaments take 5-6 hours! Even if you’re saving a little time scrambling outside of a tournament it’s still not as fast as playing ready golf
@BigSwingTempo@fnf2017 I’m assuming the best ball will be ahead of the worst balls. What are you going to do hit at the best then drive back and pick the others up? Either way you do it it’s still taking the same amount of time. You can’t magically save time because you pick them up after hitting lol!
@BigSwingTempo@fnf2017 That very rarely if ever happens, there is usually a quick discussion you pick a ball and play it. No one is arguing over which ball to use. 9 out of 10 times it’s pretty obvious which ball to play.
@BigSwingTempo@fnf2017 Same with player three and four. That’s faster than rounding up golf balls meeting back at best ball each player going through their routine only after the previous player has hit. That’s a long time man. I will say Texas tee is not a bad option though for a single foursome.
