🎥Video replay: 2011 Owen Ryan executes a sharp slide to the post with excellent balance, chest up, and tight gap control, sealing off all the low options, he forces the shooter to go high. His movement leaves the shooter needing perfect placement — and then his reflexes kick in.

Two great plays on this St. Thomas goal last night:
• Will Mikan with a strong cycle and a hard drive to the slot.
• Maverick McKinnon shows high-end hockey sense….slams on the brakes, backs into open ice, and makes himself available for either the backdoor feed or rebound 🚨

How about this…

Moorhead is just the 2nd team *ever* to beat Edina in a State Semifinal.

They came in 19-5 all-time in the Semis… all 5 losses, before tonight, were to Duluth East.

The Spuds will try to take care of that *other* streak tomorrow night.
