A couple of possibilities here, but an arm pinned to the side with the shoulder hitting the turf is usually indicative of an AC joint sprain/dislocation. Slightly lower chance of a shoulder subluxation here too.

Expected Recovery Times:
Low-grade AC joint sprain: <2 weeks
Grade 2/3 sprain: 2–4 weeks
If subluxation: 2-4 weeks

We think it's a low chance of a clean dislocation despite the loud noise around that diagnosis - this mechanism is more likely associated with an AC joint injury.

Scans will be needed to confirm the extent of the injury.
