@mavity_max@Casewinter13@CollegeFBPortal And "Football Scheduling Inquiry - Montana/Nevada 2027" is the subject line. 2027 being the key there. They were trying to fill a specific date in 2027 and Montana was talking about 2029 through 2031.
@Casewinter13@CollegeFBPortal More since I don't think Choate lied or talked shit. He said his preference was to play Montana (which should have been a compliment) and that Montana wasn't interested (which Montana said they weren't interested in playing in 2027 in the email). Not even sure why Haslam is mad.
@KentHaslam Not to mention that you conveniently can't see the date of the reply. Did you reply right away or was there a delay? And surely you knew that he left the left Nevada 11 mos. later, so that might have come into play. Post a new pic with the date...if you're still interested.
@KentHaslam Seems awfully petty and unprofessional to post the email, but whatever. He asked about a game in 2027 and you replied that you couldn't do it. Is there no chill in Missoula?
@MillsTwitch To be fair, a lot of G5 head coaches were P4 assistants or coordinators, so you could say that it's just the circle. I hate it, but that's reality.
I haven't seen @champbailey say anything about Alabama or Texas Tech not deserving a spot in the CFBP after their blowout loses like he did with the G5 teams.
@riseagainst@destroyboysband This tour includes a lot of mid-size market cities....was that a conscious decision? Cool that fans in those cities will be able to see you though!
@CSG_Pac12 The PAC 10 changed its name to the PAC 12 when Utah and Colorado joined in 2011. If the PAC was going to refrain from changing its name, that would have been a good time to start.
@diegopavia02@realDonaldTrump If we're going to issue E.O.'s, lets start w/ real reform. Level the playing field w/ TV $ disparities (SEC and B10), rein in NIL advantages tied to rich alumni bases, & fix transfer-portal that benefit P5 giants. G5 programs deserve a fair shot, too. #CFB#LevelTheField
@ByChrisMurray Pack ran the ball 69% on Saturday (helped by the defense getting TOs/points). Even with a win, generally speaking, do you agree with a run-first philosophy at the G5 level since OL/TE talent is tough to recruit? Or is building a passing attack the better play?
@mugtang ChatGPT re: the worst QBR for a single game: "The worst single-game college passer rating I can verify from public box-score databases is โ74.9 Beau Davis (Nebraska)" - Nevada: Hold my beer.
