Absent plagues or wars, a society with falling birth rates has a crisis with its values. Said another way, any set of values that contributes to falling birth rates is dysfunctional.
@TimJGraham The most dysfunctional cultural ideas come from the universities. Then those ideas infect other organizations.
“Better educated”. Come on. Anyone who thinks weak incompetent law enforcement is a good thing has a very poor education.
Some highlights. Muslims have a problem controlling their own:
* 3–4 February 2026 Kwara State attacks (Nuku and Woro villages, Nigeria): 200+ killed, 50+ injured, dozens kidnapped. Hundreds of Islamist militants (Boko Haram or IS-linked Lakurawa) attacked villages after residents rejected their Sharia demands. Homes burned; bodies recovered from bushland. One of the deadliest single incidents reported.
* 16 March 2026 Maiduguri bombings (Borno State, Nigeria): 27+ killed, 146+ injured. Multiple suicide bombings in the city, suspected Boko Haram.
@GadSaad Jewphobia is the only actual phobia.
Muslims are responsible for 99.999% of all terrorist attacks each year. Being critical of them is common sense.
@VickieforNYC Who’s going to tell Mamdummy that the federal government already has laws that prohibit illegally entering the country?
Need to prosecute him for willfully ignoring federal law and abetting illegal entry into USA.
@USAttorneys@USDOJ_Intl@ICEgov
@RepDeluzio What’s standard of living in USA today vs 100 years ago? Way better.
How do “poor people” in USA live compared to poor people outside the USA? Like kings.
@PitchforkEcon@ChrisMurphyCT Increasing min wage would be bad idea. It DISCOURAGES owners from hiring. Stupid.
People entering workforce need experience. That’s more important than “livable wage”. Flipping burgers isn’t supposed to keep a roof over your head.
@shellenberger Liberal rhetoric has worked for decades only because its voter base does not have the moral compass to know better.
Universities are the prime culprits for pushing dysfunctional values.
@mehdirhasan Climate change is real. But conservatives know there’s no reason to get hysterical over it since it’s largely out of our control and we can easily adapt to it.
