The top comments on a Daily Mail article about Anders Breivik.
If you spoke about an Islamist terrorist like this with a public profile, you’d be placed on police watchlists and referred to Prevent.
These are just the *top* comments from Mail Online readers.
That’s how all the businessmen in those countries make their money. They are corrupt rent seekers. You can’t blame “third worlders” from having a zero sum view when that’s all they ever seen from their businessmen and leaders.
Everything in my house is analog switches with KNX (European system came with the house) but it works with Home Assistant with a little device, which means everything is analog buttons but you can automate them
I hated home automation before this because I don't want to control stuff with my phone, or an iPad on the wall, it's TERRIBLE
It should always be analog buttons first which then integrate and you can add home automation in an invisible way (like put lights red at 10pm)

A lot of startup founders hate these indie guys because they won the game without respecting the status hierarchy.
They didn’t go to Stanford, don’t speak in VC jargon and have no interest in spending ten years “reinventing” an industry. They spot a wave early, launch an ugly landing page, pay influencers, make €1m or €2m, shut it down when the margins disappear and spend the next six months somewhere sunny.
Of course, many are full of shit. But the superiority complex is still funny coming from founders with a €30m paper valuation, 20 employees, no profits and a worse lifestyle than the “scammer” they’re mocking.
Traditional startup founders optimise for legitimacy: elite credentials, respected investors, a serious industry, some grand mission around the company.
These guys optimise for cash, ownership, freedom and the ability to walk away tomorrow.
And a lot of the superiority complex is honestly just class snobbery. Wrong accent, no Ivy League degree, ugly website, unsophisticated business, therefore it can’t possibly require talent.
But consistently spotting the right wave, moving before everyone else, distributing at scale and getting out before the trade dies is incredibly hard.
They may never build a generational company. But many are already living the life the “serious” founder hopes his startup will eventually buy him.
there is a theory that depression is the soul’s way of rejecting the life you’re forcing yourself to live. your spirit shuts down when you’re too far from your purpose, people or path.
