Also that symbol on the wall is not lightning bolts combined, it is more closely related to a different symbol called the wolfsangel. Even then in the original the middle line is shorter and is not as compressed, the one shown isn’t.

Also those are volunteers, and only considered mercenaries by Russia, who also has shitloads of mercenaries, some being Nazis in all but name. Those fighting for Ukraine are fighting in support of a nation
