Last night, Russia launched another massive missile and drone attack against Ukraine. Kyiv was the primary target.

Four people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.

Another 25 people were injured, including two children.

Damage and destruction were recorded across nearly every district of the capital. The attack struck not only residential buildings but also cultural heritage sites, including the Dormition Cathedral of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, the roof of Mystetskyi Arsenal, and the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Film Studio.

In Kharkiv, four emergency responders and a regional civil protection specialist were killed in a secondary Russian strike while responding to a fire caused by an earlier attack. In the Kyiv region, two people were injured. Two more were injured in Dnipro.

My sincere gratitude to the rescuers, medical workers, utility crews, and everyone who has been working at the strike sites since the first moments after the attack, saving lives and dealing with the consequences. Recovery efforts are ongoing.

Russia continues to expand the boundaries of its barbarism. It deliberately strikes residential neighborhoods with ballistic and cruise missiles, destroys cultural heritage, and terrorizes civilians.

Ukraine still needs more capabilities to intercept missiles. This is the only way to protect our people and our cities from these barbaric attacks.

We will endure. And everything they have destroyed, we will restore and rebuild. 🇺🇦
