It’s been confirmed to me today that Hykeham will be getting a sergeant back for the area - alongside a new PCSO, who will start after May.

This means bad decisions made earlier this year to further reduce the neighbourhood team here in Hykeham are now being rescinded!

After some positive conversations I have been able to get NKDC to contribute 3 bleeding control kits for Hykeham, with the agreement of our town council.

Hopefully they will never be needed, each kit will be placed alongside local defibrillators.

The changes to policing in North Hykeham and across NKDC have been disappointing.

In meeting with Lincolnshire police. We hope to bring some positive change for our residents.

They said it would be £1.4m.
