A Running Jet Provost has been donated to the flying club by Marjorie and David Somerville

The provost will be rebuilt and repainted by volunteers and will involve no club funding other than providing hangar space.

VE Day, or Victory in Europe Day, marks the day towards the end of World War Two, when fighting against Nazi Germany came to an end in Europe.
May Day, (which is traditionally held on a Monday), has been moved to Friday 8 May, which commemorates the 75th anniversary of VE Day
