We talk all things snowmobiling. We both started riding in the mid 70's and have seen some amazing changes. From pulling the cord to pulling our hair out.
How about the present from @fordnation? All ON’s trails will reopen!
It says snowmobiling has a positive impact on the economy. It would be fantastic to see other provinces follow. @WabKinew

What about that present from Doug Ford? All of ON’s last year’s trails will be able to reopen!
This type of action says snowmobiling has a positive impact on the economy. It would be fantastic to see other provinces follow this lead.

The Ontario government makes a huge contribution to snowmobiling. Were hoping more provinces follow this lead.
Should vintage sleds see a trail pass discount? Vintage snowmobiling is a fast-growing part of the riding season.

Steve and his group of friends got together this past fall to burn up some grass. No not that!
They cleared a strip out on the family farm, pulled out two evenly matched sleds and had at it.

What were they thinking? Let’s steal some sleds and pretend we’re James Bond. The worst part, these were Canadians. We should know better.

Many people think replacing needles and seats are enough. A few add a new o-ring, but very few look at the floats. They can be a big part of your problem. In the big picture they are a small part of ensuring you have a great riding season.

Our lives would have been dull without Jimmy. He taught us the value of tying down your cargo and never leaving your sled stuck in slush overnight. The adventures continue.

Finished this MXZ 500 motor today. The valve supplied by the customer was wrong, so I trimmed it to match the original. Then set valve and ignition timing timing. It's ready to go!

Can you imagine an argument about who’s more reliable Skidoo or Polaris.
Are barn finds a myth? There might be some junk in barns, but a true barn find must have some value.

You own a 90's Polaris, and no matter what you do it just makes noise and won't reverse. Check your chain retention bracket. This one was worn out and allowed the chain to slip on the Chain Pinon Gear. I cut out the worn section and welded in a patch. The reverse works great now!
We revisit our interview with Terris Baran from Safety Services MB we cover things that were missed off camera. We’re still kicking ourselves for missing that part of the conversation.

Many already know this but some won't. Screws on Mikuni float bowls aren't Phillips, they are JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard). If you're using Phillips try JIS it's a game changer.

I change a lot of floats. I'm told they last forever, just change the o-ring and go. The o-ring isn't the only problem. Old floats hit the top of the bowl before they put enough pressure on the needle, new ones don't.

When Rob says Indian snowmobiles he’s wishing another manufacturer would appear for some variety and competition.
We think it’s positive. Allowing them to focus on the core business. @PolarisInc
