DSA as it was conceived is not a Leninist Vanguard party. It does not require ideological purity. If you want one of those, join one or make your own (and good luck). That's not what DSA is for.

@SFHTUnion As for the why join DSA if you aren't a socialist question... I think there's a general perception right now as a group that is getting things done within a party that has otherwise felt stagnant. Not hard to imagine wanting to be part of that if you are otherwise mostly aligned.
