Finally, after some google searches i claimed defeat and got to work to save all the numbers available from all the people i still had access to on WhatsApp.I lost something like 20% contacts. I was already dealing with some things and this incident brought me to my lowest point.

I lost all my contacts yesterday.
I was in my room at night using my laptop when i saw a weird thing. All of my WhatsApp Web chats were showing their phone numbers instead of their name. I then took a look at my phone's Whatsapp, it was the same. MY CONTACTS APP WAS EMPTY.

I tried restarting my phone, but it didn't work. I tried to restore my contacts from my main gmail account, and even though i pay for the google one (Cloud Storage), it still didn't work. That was my best shot at recovering my contacts.

Now that I'm learning html in uni, I'm getting flashbacks of how Mr Ramjug (my late cs teacher) used to tell us to open notepad++ to write HTML codes. When we get syntax errors, he would approach each and every one of us to fix it. 🥺
