@slayingthestars Oh yeah, my sis has to have a driver for those appointments. I hope she is able to find a system that works for her. If her gynecologist refuses to help with medical sedation, find a new doc. It’s 100% valid to need help, but some doctors can be assholes about it.

@slayingthestars Those are so hard. Does she need to be completely sedated? I know that my sis has bad health anxiety as well and her doc just calls her in Ativan. She takes one an hour before her appointment and another one when she gets there. Maybe something like that can be set up for her?

@slayingthestars There’s a bunch of therapy types for sure! It I also understand how difficult it can be to get yourself to do it or even to find something. My palliative care doc wants me to get ketamine treatments but none here are done by a psychiatrist so having a hard time finding someone

@slayingthestars Yours sounds awful. I looked for reviews when I was looking. Psychology today is the best result for that,. When you do find a good one though, it’s absolutely worth the hassle.

@bettenboujee That’s my biggest complaint. I’ve been on Goodreads since like 2015 and I have sooo many shelves and it’s organized the way I like. Like yeah, I imported everything over, but it’s not a perfect process.
