Today, NTA, the NEET conducting agency, admitted in front of the SC that the grace marks given to 1,563 students, without any explanation and without taking lakhs of other students into confidence, were wrong and agreed to remove the grace marks.

If NTA can admit this in front of the Court, they would have surely done so in front of the govt, for whom they work, had the govt taken this issue seriously. This was their job. They should have taken the initiative, especially when they call themselves crusaders against corruption. Why put crores of people (students and their families) into discontent?

Now, trust in the NTA has further eroded. The paper leak issue is still unresolved. I hope the govt takes this issue up at least.
