And this is everything that is wrong with the gun control types in one paragraph:

We, as a society, know not to condemn entire groups by the actions of individuals. Normally we'd refer to this as Racism, Sexism, Religionism and so on... but when you direct it at gun owners, not only do you suddenly stop thinking it's wrong, you go so far as to call it "common sense".

Lastly, if you think Canada has a public safety problem with firearms, that's fine, but make the case that Canada has the problem. Don't try to fearmonger by saying we're like the US or we will become like the US. If Canada has a problem, you should be able to make that point without having to mention another country.

Blaming Canadian gun owners for Canadian gun violence is certainly a misguided venture, but blaming Canadian gun owners for American gun violence is simply lunacy.
