#Aftersun is an astonishing film, a delicate study of memory and a father-daughter bond that simultaneously wrecked me and blanketed me in a hazy warmth I can't quite explain. So I spoke with the writer-director Charlotte Wells for help: https://t.co/9hTAiqXvMw @TheAtlantic
Society bombards us with instructions to be happier, fitter and richer. Why have we become so dissatisfied with being ordinary? https://t.co/aUiaNGlcqm
We talked about the possibility of a power struggle inside the GOP between pro-Ukraine and pro-Putin Republicans.

That’s great but Perhaps it can focus on improving its public infrastructure, cutting the bloat out of bureaucratic and underperforming (LAUSD) and optimizing budgets/taxes so I’m not funding every bleeding heart liberal initiative lest it lose more of its tax base.
Against the timeless media narrative of earthquakes, fires, droughts, homelessness and CEOs fleeing to Texas for a tax- and regulation-free lifestyle, California increasingly owns the 21st century, catching Germany as the No. 4 economy.

@TheFootballInd This is silliness. Barca didn’t lose because of its attacking mids. It lost because its top 3 CB’s were out, the backups were terrible (except balde) and the pivot is no longer top flight. Essentially the entire back 5 went missing.
@muhammadbutt I just hope Xavi learns from this. His subs were questionable. Should have brought on Fati and Balde after the 2nd Inter goal and pulled Dembouz instead of Raphina. Dembouz decision making in the 2nd was atrocious and Balde changed the attack as soon as he stepped on the pitch.
@muhammadbutt Busi doesn't get a pass. Pique was god awful but Busi started the horrible sequence that led to Eric not even looking for the ball by giving it away not once but two times in the MF. These old dudes have to be run out of town. I'd rather watch youngsters from Barca B.
