@stevemack2017 @NCT_Buses You should have been on the bus I was on yesterday, trust me you’d have seen the problem. If the windows opened like an old fashioned bus, yes they’d let enough air in, but they can’t do that cause of safety etc. Tiny slits at the top did nothing yesterday for anyone

@BenGleeson5 @NCT_Buses And I don’t find it acceptable that on any bus in a developed country which experiences temperatures in their mid 30s, elderly passengers are seen struggling to cope because the heat is so unbearable, that’s how I feel. It was like an oven.

@NCT_Buses As I said (if the whole conversation had been included, not just a snippet nct chose) - this is not my attitude. I’m demonstrating how ridiculous it is that you cannot breathe in the heat on a nct bus, and their response is to mock you if you complain. That’s unprofessional.

@NCT_Buses Going by your standards, I’m not even sure why you bother with windscreen wipers? It’s not like it rains every week, so why not save some money and do without them, right? Not every passenger is in a wheelchair... why have extra space and a ramp for them etc...

@NCT_Buses Every passenger can suffer from heatstroke when travelling in a greenhouse on wheels, but it seems you’re indifferent to passenger safety/comfort and even lack basic manners when talking to paying customers with a genuine complaint. I’ve learnt a lot about nct morals this week.

@NCT_Buses The windows might as well not exist, which coincidentally would mean air con would work. They’re next to useless anyway as you can only feel any minuscule benefit from them if you’re 6ft 5 and stood up next to one. But apparently it’s fine that they cause extra drag when all open

@psnffc1985 Are you living on another planet, or just in a different country? You may consider it pointless, but I’m quite within my rights to complain when I experience 32 degree heat on a bus with minuscule ventilation. Would you leave a dog in that? People were close to passing out.

@NCT_Buses I guess the WiFi and USB ports which are even lit up green day and night don’t also use power from the engine/fuel then? Must run on fairy dust. There’s no excuse for the primitive conditions experienced on your buses in summer. Very uncomfortable. Very dangerous. Unacceptable.

@NCT_Buses Also, increasing the distance between stops would help with fuel costs and the number of obese people who won’t walk more than 10 metres to get to a bus stop.
