Trust in the Lord with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him and he will make your path straight. PROVERBS 3:5-6
@pastorlocke When you posted about the loss of your son three months ago, I shared with you that you now live in a different world.
Your post today is what I meant.
2 Samuel 12:23 says that David said he will go to his son.
Glory to God that we will go to our child when it is time to go.
If we all saw ourselves as God sees us, we would all show each other a lot more grace and love.
Because we would realize any claim to superiority we think we have over someone else is a delusion of limited perspective.
We have only waded ankle-deep in faith as yet. We thought the water was very cold when we timidly ventured in; but having tried it up to the ankles, we have found it good and pleasant. Blessed is that man who gets his feet off the bottom, and swims in the stream where he has no hope but his God, and no confidence and no helper but the Invisible One who sustaineth all things.
— C. H. Spurgeon
@autocorrect2_0@JethroMaccabee Cheating is a sin. Cheating is horrible. Through the blood of our savior, we are not slaves to sin. True repentance will heal our spirits as we move along with the LORD.
@autocorrect2_0@JethroMaccabee People who cheat are evil? I don’t believe it. Cheating is definitely not right but to say they they’re evil, not in my opinion.
I don't believe in God just because someone told me to. I believe because I have felt His love, seen His work, and know for myself how wonderful He truly is.
