i feel like a crank about this sometimes but it's wild to me how synonymous games have become with 'skinner box making numbers go up.' obviously there are big and successful exceptions but deliberate addiction models have infiltrated so much of the medium
@MinovskyArticle for 720s, the most reliable way for me is to slide back and forth on 624 while mashing 8+P with my right hand. I find most controllers are not well suited to sliding though, and this ends up being very noisy and can give you away in offline games if you don't time it well lol
@MinovskyArticle as a leverless gief player, 99.9% of the time I'm hitting Up with my right thumb for 360s. It's much easier to piano just 624 (in whatever direction you prefer) and then hit 8+P at the same time with your right hand
On Friday, I reunited with my old FGC friends I missed at the EVO venue, and tried to support them as much as I could.
And I visited the controller booths to say thank you and hi to the people who working hard for fgc.
Fortunately I met many people at there, especially @ArcadeParts guy gave me free upgrade for my Mpress Nano controller for no money.
I really appreciated him, but I bought another Nano in blue to repay him👍

@MinovskyArticle long casual sets will always be more optimal for improving than ranked. but the siren's song of "number go up, brain feel good" can feel nearly impossible to resist
