@Yuvyan_Malhan@AlmondTheSyrian Science can’t even prove itself, along with all other immaterial things in the universe like love, numbers, consciousness, and etc.
It’s very complex but I think it should be more of a stakeholder voting. If you have meat in the game or “x” requirements, something like land or business while also passing a civics exam you should then be able to vote. This would weed out most idiots, illegals, women, and low T men that ruin our country with their decisions.
@JingoJungleNL@TemplarsVoice So your entire worldview boils down to we all have preferences and everything is permissible and nothing is good nor evil?
It’s a hypothetical to reduce your logic and point inconsistencies. We could use other time periods as well that condoned slavery, rape, killing and stealing. In your worldview it doesn’t matter anyway bc everything can be good if the masses agree on it right? Or morality can just shift and decide rape is okay and you would have to just accept it.
@JingoJungleNL@TemplarsVoice So your counter position is that rape can be good or bad depending on the situation and it still makes sense for an orderly world?
It’s not a logical leap, it’s logical consistency. Statement A about murder being good cannot both be true and false at the same time. That violates the law of non-contradiction. Also, collective consensus cannot make the moral standard. The collective consensus in Germany decided it was good to murder Jews, so I guess genocide was truly good for them. Collective Consensus is also subjective., so you saying “truly” this and that is actually not “truly”. Seems like you’re making some serious incoherent logical leaps.
