Started testing the "Dot Method" and focusing on completely stripping down the character into major body parts/limbs to focus on good motion.
1st time playing with background animation and feeling a sense of space with my character.

This is exactly the kind of response I hope for.

I have never been interested in creating a manga that is loved by as many people as possible, nor in making as much money as possible. At least, none of the writers and artists I admired ever seemed to pursue those things.

What I care about is creating the manga that feels ideal to me, and connecting with another person in the deepest sense possible — from the heart, from the soul.

If I cannot live the way I truly wish to live, then I might as well be dead.

For that, I don’t mind being disliked by thousands of people.

If even one person loves my work until the day they die, that is worth more to me than any amount of money.
