@HorsemenPod Urban Meyer going on pods and telling stories about locking recruits in a room and saying “what’s it gonna take” while he was the ND wr coach…in the late 90’s…but aight.
@FreedomPlace777 Ah yes that week 1 game with Wisconsin not quite moving the needle like a top 25 matchup surrounded by drama. Perfect example to prove me wrong. Nothing unique about it.
I’m shocked at how much of a national brand LSU thinks they are. People who care about LSU almost exclusively live in Louisiana lol Notre Dame is the largest brand in all of college athletics. Delusions of grandeur.
This is inaccurate.
Notre Dame makes around 65 to 70,000,000 a year as an independent or affiliation with the ACC.
LSU could easily do something similar
@ellencarmichael Ahh yes the 12,000 out of state students really moving the needle. They would for sure be there for LSU/Nebraska mid October, right? And UCLA the next week. Has nothing to do with the insanity that is the SEC slate. Mmmhmm. Ok Ellen.
@TheHayride That’s a lot of words to say “you’re right” haha you very eloquently made my points for me. LSU needs the SEC and isn’t as much of a national brand as ND. Glad we agree.👍
@hold_dat_tigah@SlipBaeless Notre Dame is the bigger national brand. Its century-long independent status, coast-to-coast fanbase, exclusive NBC deal, and top-3 program valuations near $2.1B give it broader reach than LSU’s strong but more regional SEC presence and lower valuations.
@Meditomagneto@LeslieC789157 Again, a top 25 week 1 matchup surrounded by the most drama of our lifetime, isn’t your schedule. ND/Miami had 11m viewers in this same season that you’re screenshotting Nielsen from, but one game isn’t a SCHEDULE. Ok? Schedule. Absent the SEC slate. Schedule. More than 1 game.
