The 14th Amendment is not as clear. It states "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, AND subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside." So, two conditions have to be met. They have to be born here and subject to the jurisdiction thereof. If an ambassador from another country had a child on American soil while that ambassador was performing their duties, that child would not be an American citizen despite the fact that child was born here.
@pinlar75@Polymarket The 2nd Amendment protects "arms." It does not put any restrictions on the public, it restricts the government's ability to regulate the right.
@RyanShead These are 2 very different situations. Kyle tried to run away from his attackers, but they chased him down. 2 of his attackers had weapons. Karmelo stabbed an unarmed kid in the chest because of a gentle push.
One could call you a hypocritical fraud just as easily. You guys have been blathering on for decades about not needing the 2A because the government is not tyrannical. Enforcing immigration laws isn't deemed "tyrannical" by most people. You don't even care if this guy gets killed. You're probably even salivating at the idea so that you can use his death to try to expedite you own political agenda.
This seems like a "rights for me but not for thee" post. If this was a maga person you all would be calling him a terrorist. The only reason you support it now is because you think they are democrats. I'm good with it either way. Though I will say if this guy is going to carry in public, then he needs to work on his situational awareness. His barrel is pointed right at the girl next to him.
@greendragonhq I support it more than you do. The only time you'll see the left support it is when they believe it is politically beneficial. Though he needs to work on his awareness. His barrel is pointed right at the girl sitting next to him.
