For Renee Nicole Good
Killed by I.C.E. on January 7, 2026
by Amanda Gorman
They say she is no more,
That there her absence roars,
Blood-blown like a rose.
Iced wheels flinched & froze.
Now, bare riot of candles,
Dark fury of flowers,
Pure howling of hymns.
If for us she arose,
Somewhere, in the pitched deep of our grief,
Crouches our power,
The howl where we begin,
Straining upon the edge of the crooked crater
Of the worst of what we’ve been.
Change is only possible,
& all the greater,
When the labour
& bitter anger of our neighbors
Is moved by the love
& better angels of our nature.
What they call death & void,
We know is breath & voice;
In the end, gorgeously,
Endures our enormity.
You could believe departed to be the dawn
When the blank night has so long stood.
But our bright-fled angels will never be fully gone,
When they forever are so fiercely Good.
Conservatives yell “socialism” at every initiative designed to help people.
Maybe you've heard the word a few times already today.
But this is nothing more than an old scare tactic.
A functioning government requires pooling resources for the common good. Let me explain.
A school study shows shared classroom time and poor air quality drive virus transmission more than close contact.
Prolonged exposure in poorly ventilated spaces is the main risk factor, suggesting ventilation improvements are key.

If I was Lego, I would release a special set of Jimmy Carter building a house for Habitat for Humanity and raise the age to 100 just for that set. All profits go to Habitat for Humanity. Total missed opportunity.
For the record: You cannot have an abortion in the 9th month. You cannot have an abortion after birth. If we didn’t keep banning books, maybe we wouldn’t have to clear that up. #Debate2024
Fact check: In a recent admissions cycle there were:
2,000 available slots at Harvard College

4,000+ applicants ranked 1st in their high school classes
18,000+ scored 700+ on SAT reading/writing
20,000+ scored 700+ on SAT math
Wow.
This video is truly eye-opening.
Take a couple minutes to watch this.

This sh*t ain’t workin’, folks. #TaxBillionaires#UnionsForAll
