Schain was a person of interest in connection with last weekend’s street takeover in Bevo.
Case will be presented to Circuit Attorney’s Office.

PERSON OF INTEREST: District 1 detectives need your help locating this man believed to be part of the street takeover in the Bevo neighborhood.
Andrew Patterson is 21-years-old and approximately 5’11” and about 145 lbs.
Patterson is seen driving the damaged and burned white Kia Soul throughout the takeover. He's also seen on the hood of the vehicle kicking the windshield.
Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to contact District 1 detectives at (314) 444-0100.

UPDATE: Around 6pm, District 5 officers responded to a Call for Help. Officers located a man who had apparently been stabbed. He died at the hospital. The suspect remained on scene and was interviewed by detectives. The investigation remains ongoing. #SLMPD
#SLMPD detectives are conducting a death investigation in the 5200 block of Theodosia. An adult man has died. We’ll share additional updates as the investigation unfolds.
PERSONS OF INTEREST: District 1 detectives are asking for the public’s help locating three people of interest connected to the street takeover in the Bevo neighborhood over the weekend.
• Ashton Brewer, 19 is approximately 5’6” and about 120 lbs.
• Christopher Moore, 20 is approximately 5’10” and about 120 lbs.
• Gavin Schain, 18 is approximately 5’8” and about 153 lbs.
Brewer and Moore are known to be armed. Do not approach them.

Do you know where Austin is? He was last seen around 3 p.m. on September 4, 2026 in the area of South Grand Blvd & Juniata St. He has not been heard from since then and is without medication that he needs. He was wearing a black Nike jacket, black pants and black and red Nike shoes.

Yesterday evening, while patrolling the JVL, #SLMPD District 4 officers attempted to stop a vehicle that had expired plates. The male passenger immediately fled from the vehicle on foot, but officers and ATF agents were able to catch up and take him into custody. The man was found to be in possession of a stolen gun and suspected narcotics.
UPDATE: A 19-year-old woman was taken into custody today in connection with the street takeover in Bevo. She was arrested on a stunt driving charge. We’ll present case to Circuit Attorney.
Detectives have ID’d multiple others connected to the takeover. Investigation is ongoing.
