Storms have shut down several refineries. There’s a delay between crude prices coming down &pump prices

@HeroDividend Well the price of gas, more important diesel, affects how much expense gets added to airline tickets, food, furniture, appliances, clothing- everything we buy. It’s a downward supply chain. So yes , it matters

@atrupar So.. are they paying their premiums? If so, then they are entitled to their insurance coverage. Some people don’t go the doctor but still want coverage or are requires. Assuming this is Medicaid- the premiums come out of their SS checks so you can’t just cancel policy

@MikeBales Sometimes the above are tears , special occasions. Getting gas is a weekly thing and adds up quickly because at 10 gals x $5 x 4 was=$200 at a minimum x 2 cars= $400/mo. Big difference vs $7 coffee once a week.gas prices affect everything we buy

@LangmanVince How do you know they didn’t have to catch a connecting flight? Give people some grace. You don’t know if someone is late, not feeling well or has to get home to a sick child/ relative/ to see someone in the hospital before they pass. Itchy procession is longer than 60 seconds
