Monday train to London, where the first class ticket was cheaper than standard class. Shame the train is short of few carriages and engineering works have overrun cancelling all trains between Reading and Paddington 🙃.
Today’s saw me in the county court at Oxford (44 miles from home). Shame it’s taken me 6 and half hours to get home due to signalling issues, broken rail and broken down trains!
It was a privilege to represent Tom’s family in the inquest into his tragic death. The Coroner found that had the ECGs been correctly interpreted Tom’s death likely would have been avoided. The Coroner will be writing a prevention of future deaths report to the Trust and NICE.
A heavily pregnant woman tried to wake up her 40-year-old partner before going to hospital to give birth - only to find he had died after doctors misread an abnormal heart scan.

@sglaisteryoung Pretty solid hiding place! I wonder how often those climbing skills will be put into practice over the coming days/weeks 👀 (I’m just projecting what I’d do here)
This was a tragic case with Jamie’s death found to have been contributed to by neglect. The inquest process is never easy for a family to go through, unhelped by the Trust putting forward a change of position regarding its internal investigation the working day before the inquest
Emily Slocombe @SlocombeEmily acts for family in the article 2 inquest into the preventable death of Jamie Harding, whose death was contributed to by neglect. Emily was instructed by @LilyHedgman of @LeighDay_Law. https://t.co/unIxpMWrlw
@GardensHour Hi @GardensHour we have done some tidying, and got some Primeroses planted. The camellia had started to flower, but we’ve lost those flowers to frost - Lots more buds to come though.
Today we heard the conclusion of the inquest into the death of William Gray. A medical case ruled to be article 2. Multiple failings were found to amount to neglect. It never makes easy listening. In difficult circumstances it was a pleasure working with @JulesStruthers.
Multiple failings by healthcare professionals to recognise and adequately treat William Gray’s asthma caused the death of the 10-year-old, an inquest has concluded. William's family are represented by @JulesStruthers https://t.co/paZBuNVygn
@annabelheath4 I find cruise all inclusive to be a whole other world compared to European land-based all inclusive. Significantly more damaging to wedding diets!
@Portal_Queen Good luck! I should have said, after icing the stamp make sure you get it completely dry before putting it in the wax. Some people also use macaroon mats (as they have printed circles) to try to get a consistent amount of wax once you’ve mastered the amount.
@milliben @andrayuhh_xo Sorry to jump on this, but how easy has it been to retain ID, bank accounts etc/what ever you need in your maiden name to enable you to continue to practice in your maiden name?
